Carolyn Marie Siirila's Obituary
Carolyn Marie Siirila, born in Alameda, California, entered the world as the beloved daughter of Bill and Clara Daniels. A lifelong resident of the Bay Area, Carolyn grew up surrounded by music, faith, and family—three pillars that shaped every chapter of her life.
Born into a gifted musical family, Carolyn began singing at an early age. Her natural talent and deep devotion to her Christian faith led her to a lifelong career in singing and writing Gospel music. She recorded and performed alongside her parents, Bill and Clara, creating harmonies that reflected both their musical bond and their shared spiritual calling. Through her songs, Carolyn touched countless hearts with messages of hope, grace, and unwavering belief.
Carolyn’s life was filled with remarkable experiences. She had the rare privilege of meeting seven U.S. Presidents, as well as numerous actors, musicians, and public figures. Among her most treasured memories was meeting Elvis Presley, a story she carried with joy throughout her life.
In 1976, Carolyn met and married the love of her life, Bob Siirila. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and extensive travels. Their 50 years of marriage were marked by deep companionship and shared joy, a testament to their enduring love.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Clara Daniels and her father Bill Daniels. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 50 years, Bob Siirila, her cousin Karen, and her dear friend Candy, along with many others who were blessed by her kindness, her music, and her radiant spirit.
