Carolina Robles Rosario's Obituary
On June 9, 1933, in Manila Philippines, a sweet baby girl, named Carolina Garcia Robles, was born. She was the 3rd child of 4 to a World War II United States Army Veteran, Julio Robles, and Housewife, Maria Garcia Robles. She was raised in Paniqui, Tarlac. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and taught in Anda, Pangasinan. She immigrated to the United States in 1968 but went back in 1973 to marry Ernesto Rosario. In 1975 she became a mother to her only child, Maricar Rosario.
She worked for Bank of America from 1968 to 1991. Growing up, her passion was to go to church and sing in the choir. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, watching her gameshows, and The Filipino Channel. She definitely enjoyed going to the casinos, where she always wished to “withdraw” but mostly “deposited”. Regardless of the outcome she always had a great time.
In 2007 she became a mother-in-law to Patrick Arriola and then in 2011 a “Lala” to Aleksander Arriola. He loved to make her laugh. They shared a very sweet bond. She didn’t miss an opportunity to be out and about with the family. She was Alek’s #1 fan at his basketball games.
She reached the biggest milestones in 2023. She was able to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary in January, and her 90th birthday in June. On September 28, 2023, she peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones and is now with the Lord. Days before her passing, she spoke at her church expressing how Thankful she was to God and to everyone.
