Carol Lynn Hammond's Obituary
Our dear mother Carol Lynn Hammond passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 13, 2015.Born in 1959 in London England, she soon traveled to the states and after several moves Carol and her family ended up in Hayward, California where she spent the remaining years of her life. Carol attended Southgate Elementary, Calaroga Jr. High and graduated from Mt. Eden High School in 1977. From Administrative Assistant to Office Secretary, of all Carol’s professions the one she loved and enjoyed most was being a Grandma. In Carol’s free time she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and playing Bingo with her twin sister Susan and best friend Lodi.Carol is survived by her partner of 15 years Paul Greco; Children, Jennifer Ochoa and Kristin Salinas; Grandchildren, Damian and Daphne Ochoa and Diego and Zoey Salinas; Mother and Father, Miriam and Delbert Pool; Sisters, Susan Selmon, Christine Selmon; Brothers, David Selmon and Robert Charles; Nephews Joey Fanjul, Jeffrey Liebelt and Anthony Selmon; Great Niece Xavia Fanjul and Great Nephews Joey Fanjul Jr. and Marcellus Dini. Carol is preceded in death by her Grandmother Molly Heart, Brother In Law Scott Liebelt and Best Friend Melody Ochoa.Carol will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Her memory will live on through the lives of her family and her spirit will be kept alive through her grandchildren.Visitation will be on Sunday January 25th, 2015 at 12PM-2PM at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward CA. Services will be from 2PM-3PM at the same location and the Reception to follow.
