Carmen M. Banuelos' Obituary
Carmen M. Banuelos Carmen M. Banuelos Beloved Mother, grandmother and great grandmother, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 11:l5 pm., Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Park Central Nursing Home at age 98. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Marcos and loving daughter, Anne Ascencio. She is survived by daughter, Esther Banuelos of Fremont, daughter and son-in-law Bea and Arn Hernandez of Newark, son and daughter-in-law Ernest and Karen Banuelos, and son and daughter-in-law Edward and Theresa Banuelos. She leaves 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and was a loving and caring homemaker. She was born in Morenci, Arizona and settled with her family in Newark in the mid-1920’s. She graduated from Washington Union High School in Fremont. She was a founding and active member of Templo La Luz Del Valle Church in Union City for 35 years, and a member of New Dawn Worship Center (Templo Betania) for 43 years. She served the Lord faithfully as church secretary-treasurer, Sunday School teacher, music leader and Women’s Ministry Leader. She also wrote and directed many church plays at Easter and Christmas time. Viewing and a Celebration of Carmen’s life will be held on Thursday, September ll, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., New Dawn Worship Center, 4350 Hansen Avenue, Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, California. Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
