Carlos Robles: May 21, 1934 – April 10, 1014 Longtime resident of Newark, CACarlos Robles 79, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2014 with his family by his side. Born May 21, 1934 in Ogilby, CA., Carlos was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked for the Newark Post Office as a mail carrier for over 42 years.Carlos enjoyed his family, camping, fishing and hunting. He loved his 49ers and going to the casinos. He was always making people laugh, always had a joke to tell and loved telling stories about his childhood.He was preceded by death by his father Salvador Robles, mother Antonia, brother Ralph, and sister Cora Penagos. He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita, of 60 years and his 7 children; Victor Robles, wife (Trudi), Anna Land, (Steven Gutierrez) Kathy Sokol (Mark Romero), Carlos Jr., Jesse Robles, wife (Nancy Soto), Sonya Athey, husband (Chuck), Belinda Mariscal, (Brigido); his brother Raymond Robles, wife (Mary), 12 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but will be forever in our hearts.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes at the Mission Chapel. The funeral services will be on Thursday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, Mission Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. Following the services a “Celebration of Life” will be held at Kennedy Community Center, 1333 Decoto Rd., Union City
