Carlomagno “Carlo” Simangan Dupaya, 68, of San Leandro, California, passed away, on Wednesday, July 20 2016.Carlo is survived by his wife Ledy of 43 years, daughter Maricar, daughter Mylene, son Carl, daughter-in-law Rachelle and two grandchildren, Casimira and Collin. Carlo was a loving father, husband and grandfather and friend to all.Born in Lalo, Cagayan, Philippines to Casimira and Magno Dupaya, he was the youngest of 5 children. Growing up he enjoyed spending time with his family, singing and playing guitar. He studied Civil Engineering at the Mapua Institute of Technology and received his degree in 1968 and was board certified in 1970. He moved to San Leandro, CA in May 1973 and continued his education to become a certified Mechanical Engineer. He retired at the age of 62.Carlo will be most remembered for his love and faith in God and family. He will be missed dearly by all.
