Carla Christensen Eide's Obituary
Carla Christensen Eide passed away on Sunday evening, October 18, 2020, in Somers,, New York. Carla was born on August 2, 1927, in Santa Rosa, CA to proud parents Charles & Matilda (Nielsen) Christensen. Carla enjoyed a long-standing career in Education. She served in several administrative positions for a large public school district in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Her long career culminated in becoming a Professor of Education at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. She was a very down- to-earth, loving, infinitely-supportive, caring, selfless, and generous woman. She inspired so many people in her lifetime: family, students,, colleagues and friends, alike. She was greatly loved and will be very-sorely missed. She lived a very full life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alf Eide in 1998, and she was also predeceased by her dear sister, Nona Willoughby, of CA.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving and dedicated daughter Mina Eide and her cherished and dedicated son-in -law, Dan Turner. In addition to Mina and Dan, she leaves behind her nieces, Ann and Carol Willoughby of CA, as well as Ann's sons, James and Paul Abers.
