Carl Edward Lazzereschi age 76, a San Leandro resident entered into rest Saturday, December 15, 2001. Local native born in San Francisco on January 31, 1925. Carl was in the U.S. Army 43rd Infantry Division. Was in World War II and honored with a purple heart. He was a great bible student and an Elder for 1st Christian Church of Castro Valley. Worked 45 years in Tank & Body Industry. A shop Superintendent for Trailco in Oakland.Dearly beloved husband of 55 years of Mrs. Erma Lazzereschi of San Leandro. Loving father of Lavern Lazzereschi of Richmond, Claudia Kim of San Leandro, Tina Lazzereschi of Manteca, Elizabeth Ortiz of Santa Clara and Andy Lazzereschi of Pleasanton. Dear brother of Virginia Bazvik of Castro Valley and Ernest Lazzereschi of Woodbridge. He will also be missed dearly by his six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 from 5 to 8:30 and a Service in his honor on Thursday, December 20, 2001, 12:00 in the Reflection Chapel.
