Byron Stingley, born Friday August 10th, 1951 in Morton, Mississippi; Entered into Rest on Sunday September 15th, 2013 in Hayward, California. Age 62 years. A resident of Union City, CA.Survived by his loving children, daughters Tracey Stingley and Kimberly Stingley, and his son, Vaughn Stingley. Also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by his devoted wife of 42 years, Peggy Stingley, and also by his parents, Dozell and Warren, as well as an older brother.In his early years, Byron attended McNary Elementary School and McNary High School, and in later years, he worked in the construction trades. He was an avid 49er’s fan, as well as a family man and hard worker.Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, at Chapel of the Chimes Mission Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544. Burial followed the funeral service, at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, adjacent to the funeral home.
