Thank you Dr Chester for all of your kindness and support of the students here at Lifewest, including myself. We wish the best to you and your family during this abruptly dark and torrential time. We have all lost a wonderful guide and leader in our profession and our hearts are with your family. May your light stay with your family always.

As a student of Dr. Chester, I was deeply impacted by his passion, energy, and unwavering commitment to the chiropractic profession. He had a remarkable way of making each of us feel seen, capable, and inspired. His enthusiasm when teaching, especially during hands-on technique demonstrations, was contagious. He didn’t just teach chiropractic care and he lived it, and he passed that same love for healing on to every student who walked through his classroom.
Dr. Chester believed in us. He carried a genuine confidence that we would all go on to be successful, compassionate practitioners and equipped not only with knowledge, but with heart. His personal stories, filled with wisdom and real-life experience, will be missed deeply, but never forgotten.
I will always carry the inspiration he gave me and to stay motivated, to treat others with care, and to believe that everything will work out. My deepest condolences go to his wife, daughter, and all his loved ones. We were truly blessed to have known him.
With heartfelt sympathy,
R.Lee
Oh Bruce, you will be deeply missed. I remember first thinking, "Wow, Bruce is such a cool and laid-back guy!" Even after 25 years, from when I was a student at LCCW and had him for classes, I still recall the surprise and delight of starting my role as an adjunct professor and seeing him around campus. I thought, "You're still here!" It wasn't until a couple of years ago, when I began working closely with him during some curriculum transitions, that I truly got to know him as a colleague. We collaborated on updates for the CIL/CLL classes, and I took over one of his classes to ease his workload while he temporarily managed one of the departments.
What I remember most fondly is his understanding, calm demeanor, and playful spirit during our brainstorming sessions. Even when we were both a bit uncertain about how to accomplish certain tasks, his approach made the process enjoyable and effective. Bruce, your presence was a gift, and your legacy will continue to inspire us. My sincere condolences to your family and your friends. May you rest in peace. My father will be there to welcome you into your new peaceful oasis.
