Her joy, laughter coming from deep within❤️

Brenna religiously watched Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC every night. She claimed to have a big crush on him but I knew she was intrigued by his political wit. Some nights Brenna and I shared watching Lawrence while on the phone. She at her house and me at mine. She was a huge supporter of human rights and like Mr O'Donnell for that reason.
Brenna and I (I called her PV) were office partners together as parole agents. It was the best 4 years of my career. She made coming to work fun. I can still hear her say my name in a LOOOONG way when she had some gossip to share. Never anything bad. PV didn’t have a mean bone in her body, but the gossip was always funny. She was funny. We would laugh so hard in our office that other agents would come by to join the “party”. We both dabbled indifferent Home Based businesses which we also brought to the office around Christmas time. We set up a “store” with everything wrapped pretty for all the guys who forgot to buy gifts. Haha! The boss would get after us, but PV would say that we were “providing a service and piece of mind” and with that “these guys are better agents, with one less thing to think about”.
I am sad to say that I haven’t seen her since COVID happened. Then our lives got busy. But I think of her often and I will miss her always.
I love you girl.

Brenna will always hold a special place in my heart. In the 15 years of knowing her, she taught me that it was important to strive to become my highest self . Without her constant reminder, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you Brenna, for seeing in me what others, including myself, did not see. You will be deeply missed
My condolences to her family and friends during this tough period. May you all be blessed with peace and comfort knowing that Brenna left a mark in everyone’s lives, who cherished her dearly.
Now I’ll be sharing one of my favorite pictures of Brenna. Even though I met her in her later years, this is how I want to remember my dear friend. Until we meet again 💜

My fondest memories of Brenna are going to Mahki's basketball games on Sunday mornings. Also taking her to my favorite nursery to purchase plants. She had a beautiful smile and heartfelt laugh. We loved to talk politics. Bless her.
