Brenda Ann Frenchwood“Mama Frenchwood” Brenda Frenchwood was born October 28, 1948 to Hampton Banks and Marceline Cassino in Galveston, TexasBrenda hands down had a “Unique” style of her own which required all to pay attention. She has left her footprints here on earth and today we “Salute” her on a Job Well Done, by wearing tennis shoes as a symbol of her ”Walking” around Heaven all day. Until we meet again …………………. In 2000 Brenda accepted the invitation to become a member of True Vine Ministries under the profound leadership of Pastor Newton Carey Jr until the “Torch” was passed onto Pastor Zachary Carey Sr.She has been recognized multiple times by the City of Alameda for her tireless efforts in the community. Brenda’s Greatest “Passion” was attending her Son’s and Grandchildren’s Sporting Events and she could be found every weekend and many week days in the stands of a Basketball, Baseball, Football game or a Cheerleading Competition. She would be “Very” easy to spot………or should we say HEAR!!!!She leaves behind to cherish her memory; Son’s Joseph Frenchwood III of Newark, Ca, Kwame Frenchwood Sr of Fremont, Ca. and two daughters- in –laws Shannise Frenchwood and Rosalind Frenchwood. Ten Siblings; Gia Dixon, Kim Harris, Jean Williams, Hamp Banks Jr, Carolyn Williams, Robert Banks (R.I.P), Paulette Williams, Betty Minor, Cora Scott, Bessie Webb Seven Grand Children Joey Frenchwood IV, Jamal Frenchwood, Sianna Frenchwood, Kwame Frenchwood Jr, Jalen Frenchwood, Ta’Keyah Wyche and Troy Wyche Jr. Two Great Grandchildren Nasir Bryant and N’Yell Bryant.
