I played against Braxston in the old HAAL league and every time I saw him off the field it was always his infectious smile I remember. I watched him transfer to Moreau and even become more effective on the field and off. I have great memories of Braxston and was sad to hear today that he has left us. My prayers go out to his family. Not to many like Braxston Banks! God Bless you brother. Andy Smith SLZ 86
Priscilla I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you as a mother who has also lost a son. Braxston was an amazing man with a warm smile and a hug. He will be missed
Priscilla, thanks for sharing Braxston with me, he was the SON, I never had, also Nicole you had the best BROTHER in the world and you shared him with me as a FRIEND, I will miss our calls and long conversations about his CHILDREN, MOTHER and SISTER it was always about family. To his 3 ANGELS, you were always thought of and MISSED very much. Rest in Peace “MY BROTHER”, I will always remember at the end of our conversation, Braxston would say “I LOVE YOU GIRL”. I met BB and his Mom Priscilla and Sister Nicole in Church in my days in Hayward CA. We understand human suffering today no better than the ancients did in the book of Job, but in the meantime Our Lord Jesus Christ came among men, partook of our sufferings, correctly faced the temptations humans face, and came that we might have life. There were some hurdles here and there in Braxston’s path through schools in Hayward and then to ND. Braxston took care that he had serious classwork at ND. I remember our preacher saying that Christianity was was Braxston’s most admirable quality. I remember talking to Priscilla (and to the preacher’s inlaws) about our Nebraska experiences (Grand Island, Gothenburg, and Custer County); it was interesting to reflect on this heritage in Hayward, CA.
I will always fondly recall Braxston’s easy way, his infectious and incredible smile, and his warmth and friendship. His 3 beautiful children and his family will remain in my daily prayers. Thanks for being in my life, my brother. Go Irish!
