Bonnie Jean Smith's Obituary
Bonnie Jean Smith passed away peacefully at home with her daughter, Nancy Lange (& Ken Rayburn), by her side. Bonnie was in a hurry to join the love of her life of 68 years, Kenneth H. Smith, who left us on November 9, 2012. Together, in heaven, they will be with their eldest son, David Smith, who passed away in 1988. Bonnie is survived by her son Fred Smith (& Ronda), daughter-in-law Rose Smith, 7 Grand-children; Kimberly, Amy, Tara Smith, Michelle Gort (Lange), Suzanne Cava (Lange), Brett and Rory Smith. Bonnie was also blessed with 17 Great Grand-children. Bonnie was a cancer survivor, a dedicated nurse, a wonderful teacher and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a wonderful spirit and a contagious laugh. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook and one classy lady. The Smith's lived in San Lorenzo for over 60 years and we will cherish every memory made in their loving home. Please join us in saying goodbye to our beloved Bonnie on Monday, July 15th 2013 at 1:00pm- Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California.
