Beverly Jean Simpkins (Winters)May 14, 1928-December 9, 2018Beverly Jean Simpkins, 90, went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2018. Beverly will be missed by her sister Cynthia Winters of Whitefish, MT. Her three children Suzanne M. Trivelpiece of Stockton (Chuck), Dineen L. Hempy of Brentwood (Fred), and Tim J. Simpkins of Phoenix, AZ. Beverly was the dear daughter of Jack and Frieda Winters deceased. She was the dear wife of Orval Simpkins deceased. Beverly is also survived by niece Brinn Romagnuolo of Whitefish, MT. and nephew Jody Bishop of Livermore. She was Grandmother of five, and Great-Grandmother of eight. She will be deeply missed by other extended family and many friends. Born in Ft. Collins Colorado May 14, 1928, Beverly had a real sense of style. She loved to wear sequins and glitter, and loved bright colors. Her nickname was “Hollywood Bev”. She had a funny sense of humor and was very positive and uplifting. She worked for ServiSoft for 10 years and then worked for the County of Alameda as a secretary until her retirement. She volunteered at Kaiser and Meals on Wheels. She also served on a suicide crisis hotline. There will be a memorial/celebration of life service on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 1 P.M. at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA. 94544 at the Mission Chapel.
