Beverly June Paulson's Obituary
Beverly J. Paulson, 72, a resident of Brentwood, passed away at Sutter Delta Hospital in Antioch, California on Tuesday, March 19, 2002. Born on December 21, 1929 in San Leandro to Joseph and Yvonne Soares.She moved to Livermore in 1960 where her and her husband Richard raised their four children. While Beverly worked at various jobs including VCEOO, Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Tri Valley Bible Church, she defined herself primarily as a mom.Beverly also expressed herself through volunteer positions such as Den Mother and Captain & Commander of Civil Air Patrol æ Squadron #12, located at Camp Parks. She also participated in volunteer activities with the 7th Step Foundation, and served on the Evangelist Board at Tri Valley Bible Church and was secretary elect at Driftwood Yacht Club.If you knew her she was ãMOM.ä She wasnât just mom to her children but to most of those who knew her. Her trademarks were generosity and love. Her home was a place where all who entered were greeted with open arms and an open refrigerator. Mom always insisted a guest make her home their own. Mom will be sorely missed by all who knew her.She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard Paulson of Brentwood. Her loving children, Cyndee and Mark Heer of Oakley, David and Kathy Paulson of Brentwood, Daniel Paulson and Byron Stenmow of Oakley and Daryl and Jennifer Paulson of Dublin. Dear sister of Barbara Gragg of San Leandro. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.Family and friends may visit on Friday (TODAY), March 22, 2002 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM in the Mission Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, March 23, 2002 at the Tri Valley Bible Church, 2346 Walnut Street, Livermore, CA 94550.
