BEVERLY LOIS PALMA's Obituary
Beverly L. ‘Bev’ Palma, age 89, passed peacefully in her home in Hayward on Sunday September 8th, 2013. She was born May 9th, 1924 in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, her family soon moved to California. She lived in many places in California over her lifetime, finally settling at New England Village Mobile Home Park in Hayward in 1978. She did clerical work for General Motors in Fremont before taking an early retirement in the late 70’s.Bev enjoyed her retirement and traveled quite a bit, at first on a number of exotic trips and cruises, and later she organized many bus trips to various places of interest for her friends and neighbors. She was also very socially active in her mobile home park during her retirement, including being elected president of her park’s Women’s Club for several years. She was happy spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren in her later years.Survivors include her daughter Sandra Keesler and her partner Gayle Keesler. Also surviving her are her four grandchildren, Terri Rinetti Cummins and her husband Gerald Cummins, Tracy Rinetti, Lawrence J. Rinetti and Ricky Rinetti. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Joaquin Teixeira, Cassandra Cummins, Joshua Teixeira, Christopher Rinetti, Alexandria Cummins, Courtney Disa, Josephine Rinetti, Raechel Rinetti, and Matthew Cummins. She lives on in her great great grandchildren Milania Hernandez, Anthany and Adrian Rinetti and Michael Disa.Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank J. Palma, who passed September 9th, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents Orville and Violet Flewell as well as her brothers Jack and James Flewell, and her sister Sonya Decambra Leite.Viewing will be Sunday September 15th at 5-9pm at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Boulevard Hayward, CA 94544 . The funeral service will be held Monday September 16th at 10am at the Chapel of the Chimes.
