Betty J. Martin Resident of Fremont for 48 yrs. Betty died on Friday, March 7, 2008 in her home in Fremont, CA at the age of 73. Born on June 26, 1934 in Oakland, CA, she was raised in Hayward. Betty was the loving wife of Tino Martin for 56 years , a mother of three,daughter, Kathy Svetick of Livermore, husband Mark; sons, Tony Martin of Ripon, wife Sharon, Frank Martin of Sonora, wife Sue, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 18. She is also survived by sisters, Vivian and Michelle, both of Oregon, and brother, Ron of Valley Spring. She was preceded in death by her sister Frances. She loved being with her family and she loved to travel. Her gift of love, humor, and warmth will live on with her family. She will be missed and loved by us all forever. Family and friends are invited to CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA for visitation (TONIGHT) Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 5:30- 8:30 and Funeral Services on Wednesday, March 12th at 2:00 pm in the Mission Chapel.
