Betty J. Imwalle's Obituary
BETTY JEAN IMWALLE October 26, 1927 – September 29, 2018Betty loved being a wife of 74 years with her husband Robert who passed in January. We all feel that she felt that eight months without him was enough. She was a wonderful and loving Mother to her daughters Norma and Janice. Her one greatest joy was her great grandson Manny and she so missed him since he passed in April 2017. Now she can be together with both of them.Betty is survived by her daughters Norma and Janice. Her parents Myrtle and ElmerDavidson, her grandparents Emil and Berthena Domer, her brothers Richard, Arnold and Eugene all predeceased her. She is survived by lots of nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her son-in-law Ron, brother-in-law John, 3 granddaughters, 4 great grandkids, and many friends.Betty and Bob lived their last 54 years of their 74 years of marriage in San Leandro. They enjoyed camping for months every summer in Oregon with their friends. Betty loved cats and dogs very much and in their early years together she and Bob owned and rode horses. Her last five years she’s been great grandma to Manny’s dog Sundae.Her life was full and even though we miss her so much, she had a wonderful life and now is at true peace in Heaven. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to UCSF Children’s Hospital, San Francisco, or to Dusty Paws Animal Rescue, Castro Valley.Funeral and burial service will take place on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward. Reception will follow immediately after the entombment.
