Betty Jean Buck's Obituary
Betty Jean Buck passed away at home, peacefully in her sleep on 7/20/2017. Her faith, love, strength, and peaceful nature will be her legacy. Betty was born in Gibbon, Nebraska on 4/27/1933 to the late James and Florence Balloue. She is survived by her devoted husband Lawrence Buck. Two loving sons Anthony Buck and spouse Amaris, Durant Buck and spouse Erica. Along with her two adored grandchildren Angelique Buck and Xavier Buck. She also leaves behind two brothers Rick Balloue and Ronald Philips. And a large extended family. She was ‘Mama’ to all. Mama loved visiting with friends and family. When she wasn’t cleaning her home and feeding the neighborhood, she enjoyed painting ceramics. She took great pride in her Cherokee Indian roots. In addition to collecting dolls, she loved everything MandM ! Traveling whenever possible was a highlight in her life. We will forever feel her unconditional love. A Celebration of Life followed by a reception will be held on Saturday July 29,2017 at 1pm. At Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward CA 94544 (510) 471-3363.
