Bess E. Bramhall's Obituary
July 1, 1933 ' March 14, 2009. Resident of Chico, CA Bess passed away at home in Chico Saturday morning with her devoted husband, Art at her side. She was 76. Born in Klamath Falls, OR to the late Chester & Leticia Naramore, she had lived in Chico for 9 yrs. after moving from Fremont where she worked as a realtor for 12 yrs & operated Bramhall Mechanical with her husband, Art for 18 yrs. while raising their three children. Bess was involved in many organizations including Chico’s Elks Ladies, Queen Bee, & Red Hat Hunnies clubs. She also participated in the Cancer Society Relay for Life. She was a fan of the Oakland A’s, loved gardening, square dancing, traveling to England and Scotland. Later in life, she was involved in genealogy and traveling with the SIRS. She was a dear friend to many, a loving wife and mother, Bess will always be remembered for her warmth, personality, quick wit, and enduring spirit of a woman who spent her life committed to her family. She will be especially missed by her loving husband of 56 years, her children, Steven Bramhall & his wife Carmen, John Bramhall & his wife Cathy & Martha Crivelli and her Husband David, grandchildren Andrew, Colton & Nicole, step grandchildren Mary Ann and Alex and step great grandchildren, Mia & Lei. She has many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Martha James and Dorothy Harper and brother in law Paul Harper. Services will be held in celebration of Bess’s life at the Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward. Viewing – Friday at 4:30 – 8:30 followed with her funeral Saturday March 21, at 1:00pm.
