Bertha Marshall's Obituary
Bertha Marshall, 85, of Pleasanton, CA, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2021.
She was born on October 28, 1936, to Athena and Nick Zantopoulos in Canton, OH.
She was in the first graduating class of San Lorenzo High School and graduated with honors before attending San Jose State University.
She worked as a Secretary and retired from Mothers Cookies in 2001.
She loved family, cooking, sewing, gardening, hosting parties, traveling, her Greek heritage, church, watching her grandchildren play sports, and most importantly, dessert.
Bertha is survived by son Paul Petros and his wife Lisa, son Peter Petros and his wife Keelie, grandchildren Michael and Edith, Jonathan, Maggie, Amanda, Daniel and his wife Kathleen, Julia, Devon, Madison, and Anna, and great-grandchildren Marley and Travers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Marshall and her grandson Stephen Petros.
Visitation will be Monday December 13, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Chapel of the Chimes in Union City, the Mission Chapel.
Funeral services will be Tuesday December 14, 2021 11:00 am at the Church of Resurrection Castro Valley.
