Ben Beamish a Vacaville, California resident entered into rest Sunday, January 19, 2003 in Vacaville. Born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 13, 1921, he was 82 years of age. He lived in Vacaville for the last 15 years and in Hayward for 12 years prior. He worked as a Family Service Consultant for 20 years at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hayward, Ca. Ben also served in the U.S. Army Air force. Loving father of Rita Beamish and Paul Costello of Honolulu, HI, Monica Beamish of Davis, CA, Loretta and Robert Olson of Vacaville, CA, Colleen Beamish and Richard Harris of Davis, CA and Kevin Beamish. Devoted grandfather to Kelly and Kira Costello of Honolulu, HI, Sean and Erin Olson of Vacaville, CA and Casey and Charlie Harris of Davis, CA. His wife of 41 years, Pat Beamish and his parents Flossie and Glenn Beamish preceded him in death.Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2003 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Friday, January 24, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel with Entombment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
