Bella Hilario, 93, died on August 3, 2016, with her family by her side in San Jose, California.A viewing will be held at Chapel of the Chimes on August 14, 2016, Sunday, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at the Reflection Chapel.She was born on December 28, 1922 in Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines then later married Eliseo P. Hilario, who fought side by side with the American soldiers during the 2nd World War. He was a deacon in the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) and one of the pioneers of the church who served under Bro. Felix Manalo. They found happiness and fulfillment performing their offices until he died October 29, 1982. She was a devoted wife and caregiver to her husband. She was an active member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo), and served as a deaconess in the church for 40 years, both in the Philippines and in the United State, Locale of Fremont since 1993. She was a homemaker and devoted much of her time and energy taking care of her loved ones. She was a very strong and brave woman, nurturing and caring. She was also a very good cook and she found happiness in feeding good home-cooked food for her family and friends.She was survived by her 3 daughters and a son – Herminia H. Yarcia, Virgilio B. Hilario, Carmelita H. Gatus, Olivia H. Subijano, beautiful grandkids and great grandkids. She also had a son and 2 daughters who died during the war, Bernardo, Elvira and Floserfida.
