Begonia Pobre Primero's Obituary
Begonia Pobre Primero passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017 at the age of 99. Begonia was born in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Candido and Florentina Pobre. She pursued Masteral Studies and careet in Nursing which brought her to United States. She met her husband, Elpidio C. Primero in Chicago and were married for 59 years until his passing in 2011. Begonia and Elpidio started their family in Central Azucarera De Tarlac, San Miguel Tarlac, moced to Central Azucarera De Don Pedro, Nasugbu, Batangas and retired in Baguio City, Philippines. They immigrated to United States in 1992 to be with their children and grandchildren.Begonia is survived by her children Dr. Eileen P. Primero, Donna and husband Romeo Del Rosario, Elidoro P. Primero and wife Cecilia Cabrera Primero, and Gilda P. Primero and grandchildren Joshua, Gilleen, Aaron, Ronna, Naomi, Joel and Ivana. She is also survived by jer brother Ret. Col Cesar P. Pobre and her adopted nephew Cesar ” Balong” G. Pobre with his daughters Maria Angelica and Gianna Leen.Begonia enjoyed cooking and baking goodies for her family and houseguests. She was truly a consummate hostess. In her later years. she spent her time reading, doing wordsearch purzzle and crocheting. Begonia was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, caring sister, generous aunt and thoughtful friend. She will be missed greatly by all.
