Becky Cook FrisbeeRebecca A. Cook Frisbee “Becky” passed away on September 22, 2014. She was 90 years young. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:30 pm in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Becky was born July 24 1924 in El Campo Texas to Gus and Agnes Venglar. She was one of eight siblings and next to the youngest with a zest for life and travel. She married William E. Cook Jr, a career Navy man and her life of adventures began. With three daughters, Becky was active in Girl Scouts, Faith United Methodist Church, Navy Wives, Cherry City Cyclists bicycle club, camping, far-reaching travel, gardening and time with family. Becky shared that her greatest achievement in life was providing a loving family atmosphere watching her daughters grow into beautiful, competent and self-assured young ladies, and the unspeakable joy of welcoming grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Edward Frisbee of 36 years, who she married on May 11, 1978, daughters Polly (Steve) Evans, Patricia (Fran) Fitzgerald, Kathie (Bob) Jones. She was also loved by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. Becky was preceded in death by daughter Pamela Paulsen, granddaughter Briana Moman and grandson Timmie Fitzgerald. No reception to follow.
