Bawa Singh Dhillon's Obituary
Our loving “Papa” Bawa Singh Dhillon passed on Saturday June 17 2017; he was 93 years old.
Born in India, Dalewal Jalandhar, Punjab India he was the last survivor of 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He married his wife Late Sardarni Nasib Kaur Dhillon over 73 years ago, and they both moved to America in 1975 and resided in Yuba City for over 25 years. They worked and enjoyed one another’s company and were soul mates, best friends and life’s companions. They moved to Union City 12 years ago to join their daughter and their grandchildren. They wanted to be able to spend time their family.
Bawa Dhillon was devoted to his religion a true Amritdhari (Baptized Sikh). He was hardworking, extremely smart, and very loving. He worked as an Electrician in India and did farm work. He had an awesome sense of humor and was full of love for his wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Bawa was especially fond of his grandchildren he gave them all the love in the world and made many sacrifices for them.
Throughout his life he made countless friends whom have always cherished his friendship and enjoyed his company. He will be missed by all of the persons he had touched.
