Barbara J Standart's Obituary
Barbara Jean Standart Sept. 3, 1935 Aug. 27, 2011 Resident of Pleasanton Barbara passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Pleasanton Nursing Center. She was born in Merced and lived in the Bay Area for the majority of her life. She worked with State Farm Insurance Company for over 35 years. She held positions in their Regional Office, Claims Office, and local agencies. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walt Standart, and her brother, Gary McLaughlin of Borrego Springs. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie & Doug Jaccard of Dublin, her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Kris Standart of Dublin, her grandsons, Kevin & Brian Standart, Julie Darling of Castro Valley, whom she thought of as another daughter, and her husband, Mike and children Kaitlyn & Jared, her brother, Ed McLaughlin of Clearlake, her sister-in-law Sue McLaughlin of Borrego Springs, her nephews Callan & Aaron McLaughlin and lifelong friends, Shirley Miller of Dublin and Gail Kernick of Carmichel. A private family service will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on Friday, November 11 at 11:00am.
