Barbara Lee Norton's Obituary
Barbara graduated from Commerce High School (The Bulldogs) and was very proud to be part of the student body. She often joined her friends at the local Roller Skate Rink and danced and skated throughout her teenage years. After graduation she worked for the Telephone Company, a Lithograph Company and then the Federal Reserve Bank for over 30 years. She was a dedicated employee and took pride in her positions. After retiring from work she continued keeping active by being a Food Sample Lady at many grocery stores and volunteering for over 15 years at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, Ca. She enjoyed helping people and directing moms-to-be to the maternity ward.Bowling was her favorite activity, she bowled every week for over 55 years and had fun joining Bowling Teams, meeting people, making new friends, winning bowling pins and had many 1st and 2nd place trophies. She is joining her parents Grant McKay, Mary McKay, oldest grandson Philip Supnet, family members and many friends in Heaven. Barbara is survived by her daughters Janice (Scott) McBride and Linda (Romy) Supnet. Grandchildren Monica (Marshall), Lisa, Matthew (Tracy) and Jessica. Great-Grandchildren Joshua, Josiah, Zachary, Cody, Jacob. Kennedy, Hunter and baby-girl to come.While she is not physically here with us, she will always be in our hearts, minds and prayers. We love you “Ma”.
