BARBARA LOUISE BAGLEY's Obituary
After a long illness, Barbara “Louise” Bagley peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014, surrounded by her family. Louise was born on July 25, 1936 in Smackover, Arkansas. In the early 1950’s, Louise moved to California where she met and married the late Stephen E. Bagley. They were together almost 50 years prior to his passing in 2006. Louise had various jobs, including the telephone company, St. Rose Hospital, and Hallmark Store at Bayfair. She also owned Quik Stop Stores in Hayward and San Leandro. Louise truly enjoyed traveling whether by plane to Italy, by train across Canada, driving throughout the United States, as well as cruising to Alaska and Mexico. However, her greatest passion were her cats, the “Three Amigos” as well as the neighborhood cats which she made sure were fed. Louise is survived by her sons, Larry Bagley of Hayward, Stephen L. Bagley and daughter-in-law Patricia, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, grandson Shawn Bagley and his fiancée, Jessica Perry, both of Hayward. She is also survived by niece Paula Tessier of Louisiana, nephews Charles Ross and Eddie Rice of Arkansas, as well as her niece and wonderful caregiver, Lois Ann Hill of Hayward. Services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. The burial will immediately follow the services. Donations can be made in Louise’s memory to Furry Friends Rescue, P.O. Box 7270, Fremont, CA 94537.
