Barbara Ann Lee's Obituary
Barbara Ann Lee, born on June 5, 1943, passed away in her home on September 20, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Rodney Lee, by her parents Don and Eunice Otten, and by her sister Jeanie. She is survived by her four children, Timothy, Michael, Jennifer, and Daniel and four grandchildren TJ, Christopher, Courtney, and Priscilla. She was the oldest of three children and excelled academically. She was a kind, caring woman and devoted herself to the Lord. She was married to her husband Rod for 55 years, August 17th this year marked their 55th anniversary. Barbara loved her husband unconditionally and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, church member, and Christian. She made it a point to go to Fairway Park Baptist Church every Sunday for about 52 years. She taught Sunday School at Fairway Park Baptist Church and worked at the daycare at the Fairway Park Gym for over 20 years. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and she was famous for her delicious chocolate chip cookies and her mouth watering Scalloped Potatoes. All of the children in her neighborhood used to go over to the Lee’s house whenever Barbara was baking chocolate chip cookies. She also had the good news club every Thursday from 4-5 pm. Everyone that knew Barbara knew that she was a kind, loving, giving, Christian woman. She is dearly missed and is now with her Lord, her husband, her parents, and her sister in heaven. The service will be held at Fairway Park Baptist Church in Hayward, CA on Friday, October 6, 2017, from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm. It will be an open casket.
