Balwant Rai, 73, passed away on Sunday, February 3rd, 2018. Born in Punjab, Balwant Rai lived in bay area for last 27 years.Balwant Rai was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend to all. He is survived by his wife Vidya Devi and two sons and five daughters and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.Balwant, farmer at heart, loved gardening and ran small family business. Being a man of faith, he always looked for opportunity to serve passionately and help those in need. He is remembered for tireless love and care of family, sense of humor and quietly done good deeds.
