B.Z. Rogers a San Lorenzo resident entered into rest November 3, 2001 in Livermore. Born in Paris, Tennessee on September 15, 1928, he was 73 years of age. He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons, Alameda Lodge #167. Member of Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 10, member of SIRS #26. Veteran of Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Retired U.S. Navy and Berkeley Unified School District. Avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing and golf.Dearly beloved husband of Marguerite Rogers for 51 years. Loving father of Rachael Rogers of Seattle, Washington, Christopher Rogers of Hercules and Kip Rogers of Hayward. Dear brother of Ruth Gasiorek of Hernando, Florida. Devoted grandfather of three grandchildren.Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial service Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home."Service of Marked Distinction"
