Azucena Abad Rosete Resident of Alameda March 31, 1925 – June 29, 2015 Azucena Abad Rosete passed awayon Monday. She touched manylives with her gentle spirit andkind generosity. Azucena was bornin San Felipe, Zambales, Philippines,graduated high school from ZambalesCentral Academy, earned her degree inTeaching from the Elementary TeachersCollege and taught elementaryschool. In 1974, she immigrated to the United States to be with herchildren. Azucena is survived by herloving husband, Diomedes; devotedchildren Naida and Marcy Fontechaof Vallejo, Arthur and ZenyRosete of Alameda, Edward andBess Rosete of Seal Beach, Elaine andPeter Hui of Alameda and grandchildrenMarcel and Trisha of San Ramon,Michael Fontecha of Vallejo, Kristineand Daniel Louie, Celeste and Nate Zuckerman, Eric Rosete of Alameda, Jeffrey, Jason, and Michael Roseteof Seal Beach, Nathan and Sarah Huiof Alameda, and seven greatgrandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Jadon,and Jonah Fontecha of San Ramon,Cameron and Ethan Louie, andBenjamin Zuckerman of Alameda.Her generous loving spirit will bemissed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to avisitation on Friday, July 10, 2015,From 5-9 pm and a funeral serviceon Saturday, July 11, 2015 at9:15 am at Chapel of the Chimes32992 Mission Blvd in Hayward.
