It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Avinash Kohli, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who left us on March 13th 2026. He was a man of warmth, integrity, and quiet strength, whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him.
Avinash Kohli was born on February 8th 1950 in Kanpur India. Throughout his life, he was known for his dedication to his work, values, ethics and his generous spirit. He was a lover of good music and his fashion sense always had him stand out in business or social settings.. He played the Guitar and the Flute, in his younger days he was in a cover band where they played music by The Beatles/CCR/Rolling Stones etc. He approached life with resilience and kindness, always ready to offer support and wisdom.
As a husband and father, Avinash was a caring person who always wanted the best for his family. His lessons, both spoken and unspoken, will continue to shape the lives of those he loved.
Beyond his role as a husband and father, Avinash will be remembered for his character, his sense of humor and responsibility. He earned the respect from his family, friends, colleagues, whether through his work, friendships, or everyday interactions, he left a lasting impression marked by sincerity and compassion.
He is survived by his loving family the Kohli's/SInghs/Wahi's, who will carry forward his legacy. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on February 20th at 1pm to 2:30pm with the cremation at 2:45pm PST. The services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Hayward, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
