I offer this obituary as no one had thought of adding one. Aurora M. Versoza, loving mother of nine and tireless grandmother to many, passed away at the age of 83 on July 6, 2019. She was born in the Philippines in 1935, married at the age of fifteen, and immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1970s with her family. In addition to being a full-time mother, she and her husband each held two jobs to ensure there was food on the table. She had retired after over two decades employed with Hilton Hotel during which time she had met many visiting celebrities including Elvis Presley. Aurora enjoyed needlecraft, cooking, and ensuring visitors to her home were made to feel welcome and well fed. She will always be remembered for her smile, her grace, and most of all her love for her family.Aurora is preceded in death by her husband, Roman. She is survived by eight of her children, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Please see elsewhere on this site for information on funeral services.
