Asencion "Chon" Sevier's Obituary
Asencion Chon (Tony) Sevier May 10, 1934 to Sept. 7, 2009 Resident of Hayward Surrounded by his family, our beloved husband and dad went home to be with the Lord. At the age of 16, Dad came to California from Lytle, TX and worked for Hunts Cannery, where he met his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Lou. Dad was a faithful member and Deacon of the Upper Room Church for many years. He loved going to church, telling people about the Lord and helped at many church functions. He found the most joy in spending time with his family, spoiling his kids and grandkids and continuously providing love and comfort to us. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Sevier and his 6 children, Irene and Gary Mascare¤as, Chon F. Sevier, Sandra Sevier, Annette Sevier Dameral, Tammy & James Aflleje and Sophia & John Iribarren. Beloved grandpa and Apa to 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Isidra Sevier, in laws, Francisco and Apolonia Florez and great grandson, Jamesen Victoria. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Sunday, Sept 13 and the Funeral Services will be held on Fri.
