Arthur Loyd Owen a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Sunday, March 30, 2003 in Hayward. Born in Russelville, Arkansas on August 21, 1922, he was 80 years of age. He completed the 8th grade and served in the U.S. Navy. He also enjoyed painting, cars and fishing.Dearly beloved husband of Betty Jean Owen of 57 years. Loving father of Wilma Jean of San Jose, Lewis Dean of Hayward, Loyd Eugene of Grass Valley, and Arnold Lee of Hayward, California. Dear brother of Fayma of Minnesota, Ruby of Santa Cruz, California, Martha of Missouri, Rachel of Minnesota, Eltrie of Arkansas, Vivian of Arkansas, Mary of Minnesota, Myrtle of Arkansas, and Alfred Arnold of Washington. His sister Vida preceded him in death. Devoted grandfather of seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 6, 2003 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in Hayward.
