Arnold Cruz Sierras' Obituary
ARNOLD CRUZ SIERRAS (NOLDY) Age 79, Mr. Sierras was an honorable Soldier, Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Friend to all. A Newark resident for 45 years, he died Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Mr. Sierras was born Sept. 23, 1928 in Fresno, CA. He was the youngest and surviving brother of 10 older brothers and parents. He enjoyed many sports and hobbies such as a career in boxing in the 1950’s in the walter-weight division. In addition, he enjoyed ocean fishing, coaching soccer and digging and collecting antique bottles. Mr. Sierras is survived by his wife, Connie Sierras; his daughter, Rosemary (Dave); sons, Arnold, Vincent (Chris), Robert (Tammy), and Delfino (Cindy); his grandchildren, Connie, Leah (Shawn), Alisia, Tyler, Evan, and Dakota. Family and friends are invited to the Mission Chapel at the CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA for the Funeral Service, Tuesday.
