Arlene Yoshikawa's Obituary
Arlene Yoshikawa, 58, of Hayward, passed away November 7th, 2018.She was born in Oakland on March 1st, 1960. Arlene graduated from Renaissance Art School and received a Cosmetology Certificate from Laney College.She was married to Mark Yoshikawa on October 27th 1990.Arlene was the manager at a popular hair cutting chain and helped out her mother at a separate hair salon. Later she became a homemaker and learned about the Bible. She dedicated her life and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the 90’s. Her favorite thing to do was go out in the ministry to preach about the Bible and was an avid Bible student herself.She had many hobbies, such as growing orchids and succulents as well as cooking and she loved to try different foods. She loved music and grew up in a very musical family.She is survived by her Husband, Mark Yoshikawa, her sisters, Norma, Liz and Magdalena, and brothers Alan, Jimmy and Mark. She was preceded in death by her mother Regina, father Moises and brother Walter. She also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.Her memorial will be held at 28291 Ruus Rd, Hayward, CA 94544, Saturday December 15th at 2pm.
