Nettie was a warm welcome when I accompanied her niece, Lynn on trips to her home on Brickell Way or to the snow where she loaned me a coat. Through the years, I would visit with Lynn and we would sing the SHA Alma Mayer, and my favorite, “Whatsa Matta you last night”. I got a Christmas card every year and I cherish all the sweet memories of such a loved lady♥️
Nettie was a dear friend that I will miss. We enjoyed our many trips grocery shopping and looking for ingredients for her to try a new receipe. She was a great cook and I was fortunate to get many of her delicious dish's to take home. How great was that. She was also a great comfort to me during a very difficult time in my life. I had told her, if I make it to your age, I hope I am still as sharp as you are. She was an amazing lady.
I was blessed to have known "Nettie" as a friend and have many fond memories
of working with her at the Holy Family Guild, 60 +/o Club (Transfiguration) and
enjoying our friendly Bunco meetings.
