Anthony Schexnayder's Obituary
Anthony Obituary
On Sunday, June 13, 2021, Anthony Schexnayder, a devoted Husband and Father, passed away at the age of 41.
Anthony was born in Mississippi and was raised in Vallejo and Fairfield, CA by his loving parents, Ronald Schexnayder and Alesia Thomas. Anthony worked in customer support with various companies, his present career was with WideOrbit, where he flourished and had been with the company more than 5 years before his passing. Anthony’s younger brother, also a rising star in tech, had a very close relationship with his much older brother, even after years of Anthony ‘practicing’ his wrestling moves.
Anthony was dedicated to his family; his cousins were raised with him and felt more like siblings who lived far off. They all spent summers and holidays with Grandma Millie and Grandpa Jules, often having family BBQs at Dixon Lake.
Anthony’s family often sought his advice and he could be a confidant in your time of need. Anthony was warm, caring, and charismatic. He made everyone around him feel at ease. He was also fiercely protective of his loved ones.
Anthony met his future wife and they decided they were getting married 3 weeks after their first date. Anthony married Alicia Schexnayder in 2012, and again in 2018, to renew their vows in the presence of God. Alicia and Anthony often joked that they would get married a third time, any time they exceeded each other’s expectations!
Alicia and Anthony have one son, their pride and joy, Jeremiah James. He loves his daddy so much and misses daddy every day. Anthony taught JJ to love the Lakers and JJ would clap when the Lakers did well. Anthony was a quiet man, unless the Lakers were winning, he almost woke up JJ when they won the playoffs in 2020!
Anthony was dearly loved and made an incredible impact on those who were lucky enough to have known him. Anthony has been called away to heaven, too soon for us, but we pray for his comfort and his guidance as he watches over us from above. We pray that Anthony continues to share his smile, laughter and calm demeanor with us as he rests in Heaven, waiting to be reunited with his family.
