Anthony Nobriga's Obituary
Anthony Nobriga was born on October 17, 1941, in Oakland, California to Antonio and Rose Nobriga. He was raised in Oakland and married Grace Noia in 1968 at All Saints Church in Hayward. They took roots in Hayward and raised their family there.
Anthony (Tony) was a manufacturer at Gillig Bros (a school bus company) for 29 years and retired with them. Tony had a passion for family and his Savior. Tony was very involved in the churches that he attended over the last 40 years, creating props for holiday plays, serving as a deacon, leading prayer meetings, and assisting at food pantries. Tony was also very artistic and loved to paint, draw, make stained glass windows, garden, and had a love for his koi fish in his fishpond.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Grace Nobriga; his two children. Arlette Costa (daughter) and Paul Nobriga (son). Jeff Costa (son-n-law) and Shonda Nobriga (daughter-n-law); his three grandchildren, Heather Costa, Isaiah Nobriga and Mariah Nobriga and 1 great grandchild Grayson Westen. His brother Roy Nobriga and sister Shirley Fluty.
He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Rose Nobriga; brother-n-law Jack Fluty; sister-n-law Elaine Nobriga and nephew Mike Nobriga.
