On Saturday, April 10, 2021, Anthony Datu Manalili, former loving husband of Ligaya Delos Santos Manalili and father of three children (Mark Anthony, Erick Jayson, & Hubert Jeffrey), passed away at the age of 71.
Anthony “Tony” was born on November 15, 1949, in Pampanga, Philippines to Bernardo Manalac Manalili and Dominga Tungol Datu. Tony was also a resident of Olongapo City. He spent his elementary grades from Olongapo Public Schools and graduated from St. Josephs High School where he met and made a whole lot of friends before moving on to Manila. He started his college days at Far Eastern University.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the De Ocampo Memorial College in Manila, Philippines and migrated to the United States where he lived throughout the Bay Area in California for 38 years.
Tony served in the U.S. Air Force between 1976-1983 as an Inventory Management Specialist and earned the rank of Sergeant. After his enlistment, he worked with the U.S. Postal Service where he retired after approximately 36 years.
His passion for poetry, carpentry, art and music inspired those who were around him. He will be forever remembered for helping his friends and family while demonstrating love, care, and compassion for others.
