Anne Aguirre Ortiz
October 21,1940 - December 11, 2025. Born to Sebero and Mary Aguirre of Oakland, California.
Our dear wife, mother, grandmother Is resting with Jesus and has been welcomed to heaven by her mother Mary, grandson Andrew, best friend Nita, daughter in law Marilyn and many others.
Anne loved God deeply and cared for people. It was her heart's desire for everyone that came in contact with her know of the love of God. She was a prayer warrior and could be counted on to fervently pray for her family, strangers, and our country. She knew her Bible inside and out and if you needed advice, comfort or a blessing, she had a verse for you. She was very friendly and wasn’t afraid to introduce herself and get to know you. She was a loyal friend and an excellent cook. Food was her love language up until the end. When Anne was young, she loved salsa dancing and would save her money to go to the dances on the weekends where she met her husband Ralph.
She is survived by and greatly missed by her loving husband Ralph Ortiz of 66 years, her children Ralph (Linda), Felicia, Daniel, Rachelle Diosdado and Elizabeth (Paul) Baltrum as well as her grandchildren Rafael, Nicole and Lorenzo Ortiz, Alyssa Boyd , Eric Barker, Angelina Ortiz, Rebekah White, Michael and Joshua Ortiz, Samuel Diosdado, Aidan, Rylan, and Elena Baltrum and great grandchildren Elisia Frias, Audrey White and Christian Williamson.
Services will be December 18, 2025 at 1030 at Valley Baptist Church 19835 Lake Chabot Rd, Castro Valley, CA 94546, followed by burial at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward, and fellowship and Refreshments to follow at the home of Ralph Ortiz.
