Anita Flores Pasag's Obituary
Anita Flores Pasag, 82, of Hayward, California passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2026. Her husband holding her hand on her bedside and her children surrounding her. It was an unforeseen loss and her family is profoundly saddened.
Anita was born on September 22, 1943 to Jose and Catalina Flores. She was the youngest of eight children. She was smart and hard-working. Graduated Feati University with four degrees and where she met the love of her life and beloved husband, Romeo Estrada Pasag of 59 years married on January 28, 1967.
Anita moved to the United States with Romeo and their four children Maria Rowena, Anna Niezel, Michelle and Ryan in June 7, 1985.
She worked at Franklin Templeton for over 15 years. Also worked for Bank of America during tax season. She retired in 2014.
Mom, Mommy, Mama, Mommy-mommy, Abuela to her children and grandchildren. Her family grew bigger and all her kids got married. Forever missed and cherished by her ten grandchildren. Maria Rowena have Peter Elias Estay and Paolo Estay. Anna Niezel have Athena-Glezel Galvez, Catalina Viola Fasula and Charlize Caitlyn Fasula. Michelle married Ariel Secoquian and have four children Elijah Secoquian , Isaiah Secoquian, Mikaylah Secoquian ,and Myah Secoquian. Ryan married Barbara (nee Espinar) and have a son Klay-Anthony Pasag.
She embodied the best of qualities: strength in spirit and unending generosity to her friends and unconditional love that could be seen in the care for her mother, her husband, and some for her grandchildren. She loved watching their basketball games in Vegas and some weekends in Sacramento for softball games. She loved making dresses, costumes, beanies and scarves. Her love for dancing makes her the life of the party.
Anita loved her family the best she knew how. A strong willed woman, stubborn at times, but she also had an enormous heart and a wonderful personality. She had very strong values and was well liked by everyone mostly due to her sense of humor.
Anita’s legacy will carry on in our hearts reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service. She would love to be remembered with funny or silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life.
