Anita Abbate's Obituary
Anita Abbate Passed away on April 27, 2007 at her home in Hayward at the age of 83 years. Born on October 19, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas and lived in Hayward for 57 years. Anita worked for Owens Illinois for 25 years and a member of Owens Illinois Retiree Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survived by her loving Husband of 64 years Sam Abbate of Hayward. Loving children Sam Abbate Jr. and Ray Abbate of Hayward and Linda (Gary) Stepansky of Sparks, Nevada. One caring brother Albert Reil of Berry Creek, CA. Seven Cherished Grandhildren John A., Renee, Christopher, Adam, Jill, Cammy and Keri. Nine great grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:30 to 8:30 pm, Evening Rosary at 7pm at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward. A Funeral Mass will be said on Thursday at 10:30 am at St. Joachim Catholic Church, 21250 Hesperian Blvd. Burial will follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.
