Angelo S. Gouletas' Obituary
Angelo Steve Gouletas 1937-2011 Resident of Fremont With his Wife by his side, Angelo “Ang” Gouletas passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Angelo was born on September 29, 1937 and graduated from Fremont High School (Oakland). He honorably served in the United States Navy from 1957-1963. During his last year in the Navy, Angelo joined the San Leandro Police Department where he proudly served as a Reserve Police Officer from 1962-1967. After working with the Pacific Phone and Telegraph Company for five years, Angelo began working for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 1963 and served many years as a General Foreman in Fremont. His most recent position was a Distribution Specialist, covering several Bay Area Cities, and retired in 1995 after serving more than 30 years with PG&E. Angelo’s most cherished moments were spending time with his family and friends. Angelo also loved long drives along the coast and spending time in Monterey, Ca. Angelo is survived by Nancy (Wife), Anthony (Brother), Cindi and Jody (Daughters), Todd, Shon, and Karl (Step-Sons), Tula (Sister-in-Law), Mike (Son-in-Law), Kris and Jennifer (Daughter’s-in-Law), Cody, Todd, Danny, Austin, Vickie Jean, and Shianne (Grandchildren) and many other dear relatives and friends. Services will be held in Hayward, CA at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary on Monday August 1st, 2011. Visitation will take place at 12 P.M followed by a funeral services at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. (www.wounded warriorproject.org)
