Angelina Pimentel a Union City resident entered into rest Monday, September 24, 2001 in Fremont. Born in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico on August 2, 1919, she was 82 years of age. Angelina loved crocheting, gardening, spending time with family. She liked to watch spanish game shows, talk shows and novelas (spanish soap operas). She would also write jokes for the radio stations in spanish. Loving mother of Socorro Hernandez of Newark, Raquel Copado of Hayward, Guillermo Herrera of Hayward and Raul Herrera. Dear sister of Socorro Cano of Mexico and Maria Elena Romero of Milpitas. Devoted grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2001 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, September 27, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32223 Cabello Street, Union City, CA 94587 with Entombment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.'Service of Marked Distinction'
