Dear friends and family,
We are gathered here today to honor and remember the life of Lolo Angel, who passed away recently.
Let me share you some of his happy memories. When I was about 9 or 10 years old he would always tell me stories about wild roosters back in Casiguran, them going on fishing trips, and climbing trees to get pulot pukyutan or wild honey. When he has extra he would bring me to the nearest perya or local fair. if we win 60 pesos that calls for the night and we’ll get ourselves a burger for each and a bottle of coke. He didn’t have that much financially but on most days when he’d bring me home from school he’ll always bring me to Mcdonalds buy me a meal and let me play in the playground with the other kids.
Then Zee (Kuya Patrick’s son) came into our lives. My son became the center of his universe. I know in my heart that you would do and give everything for him and even more because that’s who you are. You take care of your family.
Thank you for always taking care of us. I never got the chance to say this to you but I am proud na ikaw ang Lolo alAngel namin, mahal ka kita, mahal ka namin. We love you very much.
